Tamar is a Los Angeles–based picture editor with nearly two decades of experience in television post production. She has edited on hit shows such as Hulu’s Interior Chinatown, Amazon’s Jack Ryan and Starz’ Counterpart.
Raised in New Hampshire, she attended Emerson College in Boston where she was first introduced to and fell in love with picture editing. She is drawn to the creative and collaborative nature that comes with working with directors and producers in order to shape the material shot on set into compelling stories and helping to guide each project through its final stages before it reaches audiences.
Since beginning her career as a Post Production Assistant on Fox’s Prison Break in 2007, through her most current editing work, Tamar has worked in almost every facet of editorial. She has also Assistant Edited on shows as varied as How I Met Your Mother, Black Sails, and West World.
Beyond her work in television, Tamar also enjoys cooking, skiing, scuba diving and traveling.
